The wind in the mountains is treacherous and strongly locally influenced. Conventional anemometers on masts often provide distorted images – they can show wind peaks of over 30 km/h, while only a fraction of that reaches the lower-hanging gondola.
By equipping the gondolas with the windpuls MicroWeather Sensor, a microscale measurement network is created. For the first time, you receive location- and altitude-resolved weather data in real-time – the perfect decision-making basis for safe and efficient operation.
