Cycling: Aerodynamic Optimization
The sensor captures all variables of driving dynamics and environment to calculate the true aerodynamic drag.
Environmental influences
Effective wind, angle of attack, turbulence, air density, temperature, and humidity. All in real-time.
Driving dynamics
6-axis capture for roll, pitch, yaw, acceleration, tilt, and road gradient.
Aerodynamic efficiency
The combination of environment and movement provides the cleaned, normalized aerodynamic drag.

Ski jumping: Analysis of flight phases
Successfully tested as part of the Women Ski Jumping World Cup (Ramsau am Dachstein).
Absolute & Relative Wind Speed
The sensor mounted on the athletes' helmets measures the "perceived wind". It captures fluctuations in the time to take-off as well as various take-off speeds.
Capture of flight kinematics
Acceleration and rotation rates around the transverse axis are recorded via sensors. This allows the jump to be precisely segmented into its individual components and flight phases.
Interference-free design
Feedback from the jumpers: Neither aerodynamic disturbances nor additional weight were perceived. A perfect starting point for fully helmet-integrated solutions in professional sports.
